Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the Regional Account Manager are to communicate the benefits of a company's products in order to drive Rentals and Sales.
The Regional Account Manager will serve as the point of contact between businesses and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services.
Responsibilities:
Secure orders, guarantee products standards and assure product delivery
Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost effective.
Maintain a detailed call report of prospect and existing customers for review on a daily or weekly basis with the Vice President of Sales and Branch Unit Manager.
Answer phones, assist customers by completing order entry, order processing, and additional administrative work.
Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
Demonstrate product knowledge and technical capabilities
Identify prospective customer, lead generation and conversion
Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
Emphasize features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
Negotiate prices and terms and prepare rentals and sales agreements
Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
Responsible for Rentals and Sales performance and addressing issues when necessary
