Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Postpartum Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Contracted Hours Experience: 1 year with strong OB experience License: MN state license required (not a compact state).
Pending license accepted with proof of application.
Certifications: - ACLS- BLS- NRP- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Must-Have: - MedSurg experience- Labor and Delivery experience- OB experience Job Description: - Responsible for labor delivery, post-partum, nursery, and couplet care within the OB portion of the position.- Flexibility to accommodate block scheduling as determined by facility needs.- Required to work every other weekend or every 3rd weekend.- No on-call requirement.- Must adhere to a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio for all shifts.- Option to float within scope to meet facility needs.- Orientation includes 14 hours.- Must comply with mandatory vaccination requirements, with exceptions only for medical or religious reasons.- Required to undergo Livescan fingerprinting in person within 48 hours of signing the contract.- Must complete mandatory lab testing within 48 hours of signing.- Will need to work holidays as required by the facility.
