General Summary of Position Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit Highlights 29 bed unit Involuntary and voluntary patients Short stay crisis stabilization unit Strong partnership with security team Cross-training to work Psychiatric ED and Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Units Collaborative and hands-on providers who respect nurses Welcoming, team-oriented group of nurses Roles Available: Part-time Days Part-time Nights Part-time schedule is 24 hours per week, two 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.
You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.1 year of acute psychiatric nurse experience strongly preferred.
Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
