### Job Description

WEC Energy Group is looking for a motivated and dedicated Remote Customer Care Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this part-time role, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with various departments to provide exceptional customer service and support. You will be instrumental in fostering positive relationships with our customers while ensuring that all inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong project management and time management skills, as well as a driven and hardworking attitude.

### Key Responsibilities

- **Customer Interaction:** Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner, providing information about services, account management, and billing inquiries.

- **Issue Resolution:** Actively listen to customer concerns and troubleshoot issues, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving techniques.

- **Documentation:** Accurately document all customer interactions using our CRM system, ensuring that records are kept up to date and are easily accessible for future reference.

- **Project Management:** Assist in the coordination of various customer care projects, ensuring that timelines and objectives are met. Support the team in prioritizing tasks based on project requirements and deadlines.

- **Training and Mentoring:** Onboard and train new customer care team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance and customer interactions.

- **Continuous Improvement:** Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving processes and customer service protocols. Monitor performance metrics and participate in regular team meetings to discuss challenges and successes.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, such as sales and technical support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and address any cross-functional needs.

- **Feedback Collection:** Gather customer feedback and provide insights to management regarding trends, areas for improvement, and potential service enhancements.

### Requirements

- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

- **Experience:** A minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service or customer care role, preferably in a utility or service industry.

- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with CRM software. Familiarity with remote communication tools is a plus.

- **Personality Traits:**

- Hardworking: Committed to putting in the effort necessary to excel in the role and support team objectives.
