A prominent trial and litigation group is seeking an enthusiastic attorney to join a dynamic trial team in downtown Los Angeles.
This team represents both public and private entities in various matters, including employment litigation, personal injury, sexual misconduct, and class actions.
The ideal candidate will be eager to enhance their litigation and trial skills as part of a growing practice.
Key Responsibilities: Independently manage cases from responsive pleading through trial preparationPrepare pleadings, discovery motions, dispositive motions, and other legal filingsConduct both affirmative and responsive discoveryTake and defend depositions, including those of expertsAttend court conferences, hearings, and mediationsConduct legal researchAssist in trial preparation and trial activities Qualifications: Admitted to practice in California5-8 years of litigation/trial experienceStrong academic background and solid work historyExperience in state and federal courts Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral advocacy and communication skillsStrong research, writing, and analytical abilitiesExceptional interpersonal skillsCapacity to manage sensitive matters with discretionProven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projectsStrong organizational and time management skillsQuick problem-solving capabilitiesA strong desire to engage in trial work Location: Candidates must be based in Los Angeles or Orange County.
While in-office presence is not required, willingness to travel for trials, in-person client meetings, and depositions is essential.
