Overview We are looking for a motivated Reservoir Engineering Analyst to join our team.
This role involves maintaining and enhancing analytics tools (primarily Spotfire), managing the reserves database, supporting Business Development activities, and assisting in preparing updates for management and financial stakeholders.
High proficiency in data management, aggregation, and analysis is critical.
The Reservoir team encompasses key functions such as Corporate/Reserves, Business Development, and Asset Development, providing the Analyst with exposure across various departments.
This position reports to the Vice President of Reservoir and Subsurface.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the Corporate Reserves database and lead semi-annual redeterminations with lenders and reserves auditors.
Keep inventory up to date and provide well valuations as needed.
(Experience with Aries required; ComboCurve experience a plus)Maintain and improve Spotfire analysis projects, including troubleshooting data connections, optimizing performance, creating new basin projects, updating geology grids, and supporting analysis with new visuals.Conduct data engineering and analysis to identify trends and production drivers, assisting investment decisions.
(Spotfire experience required; proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R preferred)Support Business Development by ingesting and analyzing data (often in Spotfire), tracking results, conducting lookbacks, monitoring VDR updates, and creating presentation slides.Update visuals and data in monthly slide decks for financial stakeholders, including board slides.
(Experience with PowerPoint preferred)Collaborate with teams from Finance, Accounting, Technology, and Operations to ensure project deliverables are met, including LOE and KPI updates, sharing well forecasts, and corporate finance model updates.Assist Reservoir Engineers with workflows such as slide updates, data analysis, well forecasting, economic evaluations, and more.Support Geoscience efforts by maintaining formation structure and reservoir quality grids in Spotfire, updating log control points, and providing production data to aid reservoir quality mapping.

) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
Proficiency in Excel, Spotfire, and Aries is essential.
Experience with ComboCurve, SQL, and PowerBI is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
