Summary of Victoria Place (1100 Ala Moana Boulevard)
Victoria Place is an ultra-luxury residential tower located in the heart of Ward Village, Honolulu. This 40-story tower offers 350 units with stunning, superior ocean views and a prime location on Ala Moana Boulevard. Developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation, Victoria Place is part of a well-planned community, honoring the legacy of Victoria Ward.
Must be a current Hawaii resident.
Provide the delivery of all R.S. functions for Victoria Place in an efficient and effective manner and to ensure a safe and secure environment. Serve as a departmental role model and/or mentor while working with your team. Conduct emergency response drills, daily inspections of the property, investigations, shift logs/reports and equipment audits. Is an integral part of the emergency response team for all facility issues. Conduct daily briefings with Assistant General Manager (AGM) and provide operational/shift updates.
A. Essential Job Duties
Complete pre-shift review which includes but is not limited to the following:
Briefing with previous shift R.S. Lead to ensure any needed information is clearly communicated.
Review previous shift logs thoroughly and provide any needed directive to R.S. on shift.
Assist with obtaining adequate shift coverage in the event of "call outs" and/or when necessary.
Conduct and/or facilitate training sessions with R.S. Staff prior to building opening and periodically, as needed.
Encourage and motivate R.S. to perform their best, take responsibility for job functions and assignments, make decisions and provide insight to help improve the team or procedures.
Maintain order, enforce all Victoria Place rules, regulations and policies, and ensure the observance of applicable laws. Patrol all lobbies, corridors, public rooms, and other areas to detect violations and investigate disturbances, complaints, and accidents.
Responds to calls, reports, or complaints relayed by the staff, the Management Team, tenants, or guests.
Detect safety hazards, and ensure that safety rules and procedures are enforced. Conducts daily inspection rounds and investigates and reports all irregularities to the Management Team.
Perform lead role in assisting law enforcement agencies in preventing misconduct on the property, trespassing and loitering, and violations of any of the published House Rules.
Render and obtain assistance for accident victims and document information via incident reports.
Perform and direct R.S. to perform duties such as valet parking (with Management approval), bell services, residential deliveries, and concierge "like" services.
B. Marginal Job Duties:
Coordinates and communicates department activities with other departments and tenants to avoid operational and administrative conflicts.
Works in close concert with police and fire departments, and civil authorities in problems affecting Victoria Place.
Performs other related duties, as directed or required.
Act 208 guard card preferred.
