TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Newport, Vermont, 05855 About The Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Perioperative, Nursery Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week Experience: Minimum of 5 Years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: [Specify relevant certifications, e.g., BLS, ACLS, NRP] Must-Have: Flexibility to float to other units Job Description: - Provide care for patients in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings. - Assist in managing patient care, including the admission and discharge processes. - Perform duties related to childbirth, postpartum care, and care of newborns. - Float to other units to provide support, including managing overflow from the Progressive Care Unit. - Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation. - Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. - Attend quarterly education sessions as required. - Maintain a high standard of patient safety and critique practices to improve care. - Holiday coverage required.
