The RNFA will have the pleasure of joining the team at a newly constructed facility that houses 10+ Operating Suites along with advanced, state-of-the-art equipment and an outstanding group of perioperative staff that are prepared to provide top-notch care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients.
The highly trained Registered Nurse First Assist RNFA will work alongside the surgeon to provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, assisting with a variety of procedures including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Colorectal, Bariatrics, Plastics/Cosmetic, Reconstructive Surgery, and Robotic for GI/GU cases.
The First Assist will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care throughout the perioperative period, collaborating with members of the OR Team to ensure enhanced post-surgical outcomes.
This role will be responsible for providing technical intraoperative support to surgeons and residents, maintaining sterile field and aseptic techniques, ensuring appropriate documentation, and remaining current with the latest evidence-based practices in surgery.
Requirements will include active RN licensure, BSN, and completion of an RN First Assist Program that is recognized by AORN.
