Rooms Division Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Oversee the daily operation of the Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Maintenance Departments.
In the absence of the General Manager, or at the GM's direction, responsible for the efficient and economical function of every aspect of the property

Salary range $57,000 - $61,000 w/bonus plan

CANDIDATE PROFILE High school diploma or equivalent.
Must communicate in the English language (written and oral) to the understanding of customers, guests, and co-workers.
Five or more years of experience in Hospitality management/supervisory level with specific skills to develop, monitor, and evaluate employee goals, objectives, performance, and to make recommendations when necessary.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Opera experience a plus.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Management and supervision of a combination of more than of the following departments - Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
Budget development, revenue achievement, training employees, facilities maintenance, risk management, and reporting requirements.
Maintenance of the property management system, inventory, and operation.
In the absence of the General Manager, or at the GM's discretion, responsible for the efficient and economical function of every aspect of the property.
Ensure adherence to property and company policies and procedures.
Prepare monthly room night revenue forecasts.
Manage, supervise, and direct all EOM reporting requirements of the Resort.
Perform other duties as assigned.
