Sales Account Manager (Fairfax, VA) The successful candidate for the Sales Account Manager position within our company is to introduce and promote our products/services to channel partners (e.g.
distributors, resellers, service providers, etc.)
and end users, and address related feedback & opportunities within the market.
The best candidate will be responsible for driving business development and increasing overall revenue, market share, and reseller breadth.The Sales Account Manager is responsible for sales, strategic account planning, and overall relationship management for a number of customers or a specific geographic territory.

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
· This position is required to achieve a defined sales quota
· Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan for each account assigned
· Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of assigned customers
· Manages relationships within the accounts that they are assigned.
· Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers
· Delivering impeccable customer service, including efficient acknowledgment and resolution of issues
· Building strong relationships to identify requirements and manage expectations
· Retaining and growing the value of accounts
· Conduct regular check-ins and account reviews to assess customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
· Responsible for developing the forecasts for each named account by gathering and analyzing the baseline data
· Schedule weekly reports appropriate with the Executive Management teams of their named accounts.
· Provide competitive market feedback (including competitive pricing, products, rebates, bundling deals)
· Provide input to channel marketing/product marketing for sales tools, demos, and product requirements within their assigned customer base.
· Support Trade Shows and other regional/national events as required.
· Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, production, and logistics, to coordinate efforts and deliver on customer expectations.
Qualifications: Proven experience in sales or project management, preferably in a related industry.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.Detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to clients' needs.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.Willingness to travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
