Job summary
Looking for a Sales Associate to join our team in our Louisiana office.Requires strong local network and in-person relationship building.Not a remote position.

Responsibilities
• Utilize consultative sales techniques to prospect and initiate new business sales.• Assists in the processing of new business, including finalizing sales and service transactions.• Identify cross-selling opportunities for Lead Sales Agent.• Contribute to and execute marketing plan with Lead Sales Agent.• Identify mass marketing prospects through existing book of business and community prospecting.• Meet monthly goals for new business sales.• Complete follow-ups on new policies to maintain retention and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.• Coordinate activities with other departments for quality customer service.• Act as initial contact for customer concerns regarding policies and new account status.
Requirements
• High School Degree.• 1-2 years of relevant sales experience preferred.• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to handle objections and educate customers in a consultative manner.• Self-starter, motivated to learn and grow in a professional sales organization.• Professional business acumen, strong presence, and confidence.• Resourceful team player that can contribute and accept new ideas.• State insurance license or willingness to earn one with Liberty Mutual's training and support in Property & Casualty, and Life.
