The Sales Data Governance Strategist will be responsible for managing and governing the data within our Salesforce CRM system. This role involves overseeing data quality, governance, processes, and policies to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and usability of the CRM data. The ideal candidate will have a background in data management, Salesforce CRM, and possess analytical and communication skills. In addition, Data Enrichment, Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Data Strategy & Architecture, Stakeholder Collaboration, and Reporting & Analytics are key KPIs.
A Day in the Life Typically Includes: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures aligned to the Enterprise data strategy.Define data standards, naming conventions, and data quality rules.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Monitor and maintain data quality within the Salesforce CRM.Identify and resolve data quality issues, including duplicates, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.Develop and implement data cleansing processes and tools and utilize automation tooling for deduping and merging accounts.Oversee data integration processes between Salesforce CRM and other systems including 3rd party data (Demandbase, Zoominfo, HG Insights, D&B).Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy for Salesforce CRM.Basic Qualifications: Experience working in a software or technology company.Experience in data enrichment and data management with a focus on CRM systems.Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its data architecture.Experience with data governance and data quality management practices.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data governance.Experience presenting to executive level customers.Experience with sales processes, methodologies, and best practices in the high-tech industry.Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Data Architect).Location: U.S. remote.
