has been in business for more than 20 years, and since our founding in 1998 we have helped thousands of students of all ages realize their full potential. Premier Martial Arts delivers a best-in-class martial arts experience that helps our students develop the personal skills that are necessary to build a successful life. Our mastery of teaching martial arts over the past two decades is evident in our structured and thorough curriculum, which is standardized across our 100+ locations across the United States, Canada and England.
Our curriculum focuses on character development far beyond the importance of self-defense. We teach our young students how to respect their elders, how to be accountable, how to focus and how to stay in shape in a fun and exciting atmosphere. We empower our adult students with the self-confidence to overcome anxieties and trauma, in an environment that fosters inclusion and social belonging.
Who We Want. ..
We are looking for someone who has a passion for changing lives through day-to-day martial arts
learning. Someone who is outgoing, leadership driven, can not only sell but teach and inspire others to
be the best version of themselves. This role includes both a sales and martial arts instruction
component. Responsibilities include:
Sales and Lead Generation 70%:
Meet and exceed monthly sales and financial targets, for services, events and merchandise
Marketing Connect with potential customers through video, print, digital, face to face, and
grassroots efforts, to include but not limited to distribution of marketing materials into the
community, attend schools, trade shows, festivals and religious organizations
Execute lead generation systems provided in monthly advertising and promotions; follow up on
leads, manage referral programs, and calling on potential clients
Relationship management- Actively seek out new relationships and students, responding to
customer inquiries, resolving customer concerns
Set up appointments and host Intros and Group Introductions for potential members
Conduct new enrollments, and sell upgrades, sell other services such as parents night out,
birthdays parties etc.
Martial Arts Instruction 20%:
High QualityCustomer Service with the students and parents
Following PMA Curriculum, Class Planning management
Providing A+ Quality of Class Instruction
Managing and Recording Students Progress through checks, graduations, stripe and belt testing
Serve as support instructor in 5-7 High Energy, Benefit Driven, and educating classes daily
Serve as lead instructor for Saturday classes; step in as lead instructor during the week as
needed
Help Improve the matt experience every step of the way
Administration Customer Service, and Events 10%:
Maintain accurate financials (credit card and cash handling) Inventory management, greeting customers
with a smile and enthusiasm, studio cleanliness, create and submit contracts, post videos online, sales
and student count record keeping, setting up appointments with students and parents on progress,
attending and participating in relative and required training, and maintain daily office hours,
Qualifications:
Prior Sales and Martial Arts Experience Is a MUST
High school diploma
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organized-Self Starter,
innovativethinking,
Use of computer, social media, cell phone, and contact management systems
Experience cold calling
Service First Mentality
Professionalism and integrity in the workplace at all times
Authorization to work in the US; Clean background check required
Flexibility to work days, evenings (close at 9 pm), Saturdays and some holidays
Work Hours: Part-time - Approximately 27-33 hours weekly - Weekdays Midshift (Approximately 12-7,
Saturdays ~9-2), off on Sundays and one weekday, (hours could change and may increase over time)
Premier Martial Arts Ranking: We provide hands-on martial arts training to both black belts and color belts.
