The Scheduling and Events Assistant provides administrative support for conference operations (scheduling, services, etc.). Schedule campus facilities for internal and external clients. Oversees day-to-day management and overall operation of the scheduling database and serves as primary liaison with ITS for database maintenance. Utilize the scheduling database to coordinate information about events with campus service providers. Update, maintain, and implement an office communication calendar as necessary for events sponsored by our office. Provide primary reception services for the office.
Key Responsibilities Functional Administrator for 25LIVE (database administration, training faculty/staff, &software upgrades) Schedule and book events, Maintain events calendar and coordinate resources for campus in accordance with College policies; includes communication/resolution with students, faculty, staff, external customers. Coordinate with Registrar to ensure all classes are scheduled prior to the start of each semester Communications Coordination - create and maintain an office communications calendar that coordinates print, radio, social, posters, etc. media needs for all events run by our staff; manage the posting of select media for the office, serve as the point person for GrinnellShare and office websites. Board of Trustees – Coordinate with President's office for BOT Meeting logistics Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Three years or more of work experience Champions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion This position requires exceptional organizational, problem solving, and time management skills. Individuals must be extremely customer oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Position requires data management skills. Must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, databases, and the World Wide Web, and willing to learn more specialized software Strong interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Associates Degree or Bachelors degree (B.
