Job Posting: Elementary School Psychologist Location: Wheaton, IL Area Position Type: Full-Time Hours: 8:05 AM - 3:35 PM Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students to determine eligibility for special education services. Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop effective strategies for student success. Assist in crisis management and provide support during critical incidents. Facilitate the transition from Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to Special Education services. Engage with families and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed. Qualifications: Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field. Valid Illinois School Psychologist License. Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with Autism and other disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
