Overview of the 1040 Processor/Tax Preparer *
• File, scan, and organize client documents efficiently.
• Perform data entry and consolidation tasks to prepare for tax return processing.
• Communicate with clients to request missing or necessary documentation for accurate tax filings.
• Prepare and process individual tax returns (1040 forms) electronically in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications for the 1040 Processor/Tax *
• Minimum of two years of experience in data entry and tax preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Familiarity with UltraTax and SurePrep is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage tasks effectively and interact with clients.
* $41,600.00 to $54,500.00 depending on experience
