Security Architect - Technology Consulting: Security and Privacy Description

As a Security Architect in Credera's Security and Privacy capability group, you will provide Security leadership for multiple Credera clients and guide consultant teams on end-to-end delivery. You'll play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing solutions focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements, increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats.
On a typical day, you might expect to participate in any of the following:
Serve as a subject matter expert in Information Security on projects and continuously interact with stakeholdersCommunicate the business benefits of improved cybersecurity to clients and leaders across an organizationLead Cloud Security maturity assessment identifying key gaps from client's maturity levelsLead the definition of Credera's Cybersecurity methods and patterns of practiceLead the development and publication of Cybersecurity perspectives and opinions for CrederaWHO YOU ARE: You have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in the Cybersecurity industry or with technology consultingYou have a passion for cybersecurity and keep yourself up to date on the latest developments and trendsYou have proven technical skills including familiarity or direct technical experience with Identity and Access Management, Data Protection and Vulnerability Management technologiesYou have experience with at least 1 of the following: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud PlatformYou have experience performing competitive and best practice assessments and researching activities to identify competitive benchmarksYou have experience performing technical and competitive analysis of risk, controls, third party management, security operations, privacy and data protection solutions, including integration with enterprise information security and information technology applications and data feedsYou are a subject matter expert in information security and risk managementYou hold security certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) desiredYou can lead cross-functional teams, develop ideas to bring together brand goals, and tailor objectives towards consumer needsYou have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage customers at a business level in addition to a technical level. We review and guide companies in executing general data governance and data lifecycle management. We help clients execute on data loss prevention.Risk Management: We provide external audit readiness for compliance in ISO, NIST, AICPA, and many others. Hybrid Work Model:
Our employees have the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. We expect our Crederians to average 3 days (full or partial) per week in person with the flexibility to choose the days and times that work best for both them and their project or internal teams. This could be at a Credera office, at a client site, or at an off-site location with other team members. You'll work closely with your project team to align on how you balance both the flexibility that we want to provide with the connection of being together to produce amazing results for our clients.
Travel: Our goal is to keep out-of-market travel to a minimum, and most projects do not require significant travel. While certain projects can require frequent travel (up to 80% for a period of time), our average travel percentage over a year for team members is typically between 10-30%. We try to take a personal approach to travel. You will submit your travel preferences which our staffing teams will take into account when aligning you to a role.

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and includes the range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, certifications, etc. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would be near the top end of the compensation range, but that decision will be dependent on the facts associated with each specific individual's relevant experience for the role.
