Role OverviewID.me is seeking a full-time Security Guard responsible for providing superior physical security services in addition to emergency response planning for our and McLean office(s). The Security Guard will display exceptional customer service and communication skills. This position is a physical security role in which security guards are required to observe and report as they patrol the premises and monitor camera feeds.ResponsibilitiesPatrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized entry, protect ID.me property, and perform entry controller dutiesMonitor and secure all entry control points, ensuring each person is validated upon entryExercise judgment and use discretion in dealing with emergencies and security violations encounteredReceive specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting security areasControl access to building and grounds allowing access under company policyProtect personnel and property in a professional mannerProvide first aid, CPR and assist during emergencies as necessaryBe fully familiar with building layout, floor plans, manual fire alarm locations, fire extinguisher locations, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) locations, emergency routes, and evacuation assembly pointsRemain on post until properly relieved and pass all information relevant to the post to the relieving Security OfficerPerform activities in exterior and interior work environments, sometimes in inclement weatherPerform other duties as assigned and shift flexibility as neededQualifications1 year in a security positionHigh School Diploma or GEDA valid US Driver's LicenseFluently read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to perform shift workBasic first aid skills Qualification/certification as a security guard or militaryID.me Covid Vaccination RequirementID.me has a mandatory vaccination requirement where not prohibited by applicable federal or state law.All current and future employees are required to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations, unless a reasonable accommodation is approved.
