Summary/Overview:
Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC. (KBRA, LLC) is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate to join its growing Financial Institutions team. This role will be focused on credit ratings and research of non-bank financial institutions. The position will be based out of KBRA's New York office.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze financial statements of non-bank finance companies including various types of commercial and consumer finance companies and equipment leasing companies.
Prepare committee memos, research reports, and supporting analytical materials and assist senior analysts in rating process and research efforts.
Present rating recommendations in rating committees and participate in external management meetings and investor calls.
Monitor portfolio of finance companies for significant developments.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
Bachelor's degree required. Advanced graduate degree and/or CFA designation a plus
2+ years of work experience in a financial analysis role within financial services or rating agency
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and Excel skills
Attention to details
Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Strong interest and/or relevant experience in ratings and/or financial sector transactions
CFA and knowledge of Bloomberg considered positively
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $120,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
