Senior Analyst, Impact
San Francisco, California (or New York, New York) We are looking for an exceptional Senior Analyst based in San Francisco or New York with a strong analytical skillset, growth mindset, and passion for making a positive impact.
This exciting and expansive role will provide support for our private markets impact investing vehicle and broader ESG integration activities across our investment platform.
Your Role This multi-faceted role on the Impact Team is designed to support all the ways we deploy ESG-integrated and impact investing capital.
We expect this role's time to be allocated approximately 50% on impact investing and 50% on ESG integration, however this percentage may vary time to time based on project workload.
Responsibilities may include:
Impact Investing Support the sourcing and screening of impact investing opportunities across venture capital, private equity, and real assets funds and companies.Contribute to financial and impact due diligence on new opportunities and monitoring of the existing portfolio.Assist with preparing investment memorandums and presentations that summarize key findings from due diligence.Assist with the preparation of investor reporting, including quarterly performance and responding to investor inquiriesSupport the development of industry and sub-sector specific landscaping efforts to bolster origination efforts through deep research and analysis and to inform portfolio construction and investment decisions.ESG Integration Support annual ESG & DEI monitoring process across our investment platform, including development of data collection infrastructure including a data warehouse, maintenance of Tableau dashboard(s), and quantitative data analysis.Help develop frameworks and provide thought-partnership to evaluate ESG characteristics of opportunities across asset classes.Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of client ESG and impact preferences in portfolio asset allocation recommendations.Produce presentations and reports related to ESG integration such as client-facing overviews and internal resources.Contribute to construction of annual client ESG & DEI Reports with quantitative and qualitative data across allocations.Cross Functional Team Support Support in critical functions including coordinating team meeting agendas, note-taking, and knowledge management.Effectively communicate and collaborate with the Investment, Client Advisory, Client Service, and Investor Relations Teams, as well as other key internal partners.Collect and manage data on team outcomes across functions, maintain a related dashboard.Engage with an extensive network of industry partners to support client needs and enhance our impact platform/offering.Requirements and Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates strong quantitative aptitude, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and critical thinking.

Approximately 2-years of experience in ESG and/or impact investing, consulting, investment banking, private equity, development finance, nonprofit finance, economic policy, research, or other relevant fields.Demonstrated interest in both ESG and impact investing and passion for leveraging capital to address social and environmental challenges; familiarity with common industry ESG and impact investing frameworks desired.Strong skillset in Microsoft Office, namely PowerPoint and Excel; proficiency in Python and Tableau or similar programs desirable.Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, particularly with big and complex datasets.Basic understanding of finance and/or economics; experience with private markets investment, including financial modeling is desirable.Excellent written and verbal communicator, enjoy cultivating relationships with complex stakeholder groups.Demonstrated lifelong learner who thrives undertaking a broad variety of tasks, relishes intellectual challenges, and is comfortable with ambiguity and moving targets.Humility, a sense of humor, and willingness to roll up sleeves and get work done.A bias toward action -- entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional time management and strategic planning skills.Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, liberal arts, or related study preferred.About You Have a positive attitudeAsk good questionsThink critically and are intellectually curiousAre highly detail-oriented, accurate and self-motivatedCan zoom in and zoom out – you want to see the big picture and know the detailsExcel as a project managerLove taking on challenges and finding creative solutionsDon't get flustered easilyCan communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholdersAre discreet in handling sensitive and confidential informationCompensation & Benefits Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits and other perks.
We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.
The expected base salary for this role in San Francisco, California will range from $100,000 - $110,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
