The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a *Senior Aquatics Director * to join our team!

The Senior Aquatics Director oversees the development and operations of aquatics programs, as defined by budget size, staff count, and program scope and scale.
As a Senior Aquatics Director is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating employees and volunteers to ensure staff are representative of the mission of the YMCA.
Individuals in this role are expected to provide a quality experience to members focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the Aquatics team and manage aquatics operations with celebration and service.
Responsible for staff development, administration, fiscal management, connecting members and program development.
Provide an impactful staff experience by recruiting and hiring, training and developing, supervising and evaluating employees and volunteers to ensure staff are representative of the mission of the YMCA.
Meet performance measurement through annual giving, major gifts, and/or endowment by telling the Y story and raising charitable dollars to fulfill our mission.
Qualifications:

You have a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent knowledge that includes supervision, fiscal management, program development, staff and volunteer development.

You can manage and develop staff and volunteer teams.
You are organized, proactive and know how to get things done.
You have current Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid and Oxygen certifications.
Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).
Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
Compensation: $67,724.80 to $69,724.80 per year, depending on qualifications
