Senior Associate, Music Digital Advertising (Bilingual)Downtown Artist & Label Services offers distribution, bespoke marketing solutions, and funding to entrepreneurial artists and their partners, ranging from emerging talent at the forefront of pop culture to the most storied managers and record labels. Downtown Music Artist & Label Services and FUGA are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Associate, Music Digital Advertising (Bilingual) to join our team. Part of Downtown Music Holdings, Artist & Label services and FUGA offer hands-on distribution service to top-tier clientele.
This role is open to hybrid candidates based preferably in NY/NJ, Nashville, Los Angeles or remote candidates based in North Carolina, Maryland, or Florida. What you'll be doing:Execute, manage, and optimize digital media ad campaigns with a focus on campaign KPIs and goals for a variety of music artists and labels, as well as internal initiatives for A&LS and FUGALiaise with marketing and project management teams to develop media strategies and campaignsHandle advertising access, onboarding, creative asset procurement, and reporting for executed campaignsProvide real-time suggestions for optimizations to improve ad performanceCreate and manage custom audiences; utilize pixel or API based tracking to improve advertising performanceIdentify target audiences and analyze their characteristics, behaviors, and media habitsMonitor media buys to ensure all brand safety and viewability standards are met or exceededMonitor media for pacing, delivery, placement, and flight date discrepanciesUtilize internal project management systems to track budgets and spends as they are incurredProvide technical support and handle troubleshooting for ad account issues, including creative disapprovals and billing issuesAid in educating the digital & marketing teams on best-practices and data-driven techniquesImplement test initiatives such as A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other testing as neededMust-Haves / Requirements:3+ years of extensive experience and deep knowledge of both PPC advertising platforms and music-specific advertising platforms: Meta, TikTok, Google (Youtube), Spotify Ad Studio, etc.Proven skills in PPC advertising set-up and optimizationFluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in the music industry, in a marketing function: at an agency, label, management company, etc.Knowledge of the digital marketing levers for musicKnowledge of music industry and digital distribution landscapeKnowledge of current and future trends in social media and paid socialExperience analyzing data from Spotify for Artists, iTunes Connect, ChartmetricDeep understanding of PPC advertising best practices, creative best practices, and music marketing best practicesExperience building and maintaining internal and external relationshipsSelf-starter with strong organization skills and attention to detail, with ability to set and consistently meet deadlinesExperience with creating reports and ad plans,Experience with requesting assets, and onboarding new advertising projectsDeep knowledge of "media math," i.e., how targeting and other various factors affect performance and interact with each other, how different metrics are related and their effect on each other, etc.Experience with retargeting, building custom audiences, conversion tracking, and pixelingExperience with deciphering and explaining metrics to clients without advertising knowledgeWhy you want to work here:Ample opportunities to work with leaders and employees across multiple Downtown brandsWork in a collaborative environment full of mission driven, innovative, and passionate peopleBe part of an open, welcoming, and inclusive cultureRich benefit program (Medical, Dental, Vision), Life Insurance, 401k (with match)Downtown provides base salary ranges for all positions located in the United States at the time of posting. The hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000 annually. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon various factors including, but not limited to, work experience, geographic location and relevant skills. This range does not include any other variable compensation components.
