The Spend Management team is building products and platforms that redefine how companies implement processes and strategies to track, control, and optimize their spending. We're a team of full-stack engineers motivated by the desire to create a lovable and intuitive product experience that brings a sigh of relief to our customers who are frustrated by existing complex and fragmented spend management solutions.
As part of this role, you will: Work closely with designers and product leaders to ship lovable experiences that solve complex financial workflows.Take complex concepts and workflows and boil them down to core challenges our customers face to come up with innovative solutions.Feel a strong sense of product ownership and actively seek responsibility.Join a small-but-mighty team of experienced product engineers creating Mercury's brand-new Spend Management platform.The ideal candidate for the role: Has 4+ years of software development experience, with a knowledge of or excitement to learn Haskell.Has made architectural decisions in the past and measured the impact of those decisions over time.Is passionately customer and product minded and has experience building, shipping, and iterating on new products.Is someone comfortable driving discussions in areas with ambiguous ownership.Is ridiculously helpful and doesn't mind crossing team boundaries to improve the product experience.If this role interests you, we invite you to explore our public demo at demo.mercury.com.
The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits.
Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:
