Job Description - Job Role: Senior Business Analyst for DBHDS
- Location: Richmond, VA
- Required to be on-site two days a week
- Parking not provided
- Local candidates within 100 miles or a 2-hour drive are preferred
- In-person interviews for local candidates, virtual interviews for those outside the specified distance
- Role involves supporting the design and implementation of a new Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data exchange
- The project involves replacing the existing data warehouse with a new cloud-based architecture
- The role requires coordination with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document requirements
- Responsibilities include creating data dictionaries, documenting report requirements, and understanding current business processes
- The role also involves overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure the delivered solutions meet business requirements and adhere to data governance and security standards
- Required skills include intermediate to advanced SQL querying skills and experience with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take initiative and ownership over work are necessary.
