Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to support our applications and software development team by eliciting, documenting, and analyzing requirements for multiple projects. This role is essential for creating well-defined system requirements and ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business needs. The selected candidate will work during standard business hours but may occasionally be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as necessary. Key Responsibilities Conduct interviews and engage with stakeholders to gather detailed system requirements. Draft comprehensive system requirements documentation following best practices. Lead business process re-engineering efforts and enhance software process flow. Develop user stories and use cases aligned with established business analysis frameworks. Design and implement mockups and wireframes adhering to UX best practices. Collaborate closely with the development and project teams to ensure seamless execution of project goals. Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder interviews. 5+ years of expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 5+ years in business process re-engineering and process flow improvement. 5+ years developing user stories and use cases according to business analysis standards. 5+ years designing mockups and wireframes with a focus on UX best practices. 3+ years of strong communication and facilitation skills. 3+ years of proven organizational and writing skills. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years documented experience using requirements management software, preferably Modern Requirements . 2+ years experience with issue tracking software, preferably Atlassian Jira . 2+ years of experience working for or closely with state or local education agencies.
