In the role of Senior Business Consultant specializing in ABOR (accounting book of records), your participation will be instrumental in the expansion of our market unit and in advancing the outcomes of our clients' projects.
You will normally be working full-time on implementation projects, which require your special expertise in the ABOR area, and you will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream.
You will act as an important sparring partner for your clients and effectively monitor, coordinate, and escalate issues as needed.
What you will be responsible for Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects: You know the customers' requirements and processes related to Accounting at banks, asset managers and insurers and outline solutions for optimal use ofSimCorp Dimension Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in developing projects to success Gain understanding of Simcorp's Global Standard Solutions and utilize them for project delivery Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects Actively participate in know-how exchange with colleagues on an international level What we value Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. Previous experience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks or consulting firms Excellent know-how in at least two of the following areas: Our candidates will have experience in one or more of the following fields:Asset Management – Back Office – or Financial ReportingConsulting or Professional Services within the Asset Management sectorAn implementation role for a software vendor specializing in Asset Management softwareAsset Management candidates should have 3-5 years of experience working hands on with the investment and/or fund accounting functions and the enterprise applications that enable themConsultants should have experience with multiple enterprise implementations involving ABOR functions on the buy side, and hands on experience with applications similar to DimensionDegree within Business discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferredSelf-starter with a can-do mindsetAbility to manage assigned tasks and deliver the results on timeHave Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English – both oral and writtenBasic understanding of financial industry/products and related accountingCPA, CA, or CFA qualification is a plusHands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension is a plusAbility to travel to client's site (70%)Benefits Attractive salary, bonus scheme, and pension are essential for any work agreement.
