Senior Compliance Analyst, Safety Risk ResponseAre you interested in working on a fast-paced team that pioneers ways to improve compliance within North American Surface Transportation (NAST)? The NAST Safety Risk Response team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated data analyst to support business initiatives by identifying and analyzing data, driving process improvements, and eliminating defects. An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different business models and the underlying analytics, and the ability to assimilate new methodologies and data sources. They will be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, be vocally self-critical, and be able to collaborate with others in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
This position is NOT remote and DOES require you to be onsite in Nashville, TN.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesPartner with safety and compliance leaders to create key performance indicators and new methodologies for measurement.Understand data sources and pull necessary data to drive the decision-making process.Translate data into actionable insights for the stakeholders.Automate reporting for weekly business metrics; identify areas of opportunity to automate and scale ad-hoc analyses.Automate existing manual workstreams through dashboard development, ensuring data feeds the right systems to drive business decisions.Minimum RequirementsHigh school or equivalent1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experienceCan lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachWork 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysAre 18 years of age or olderPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of SQLKnowledge of VBA and Excel Macro creation and modificationKnowledge of a modern programming language (Ruby, Java, Python, or C#)Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting languageExperience leveraging LLMs and developing GenAI applicationsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
