About the team Our CFO Advisory service line is well established and uniquelypositioned within the market. We provide a hands-on delivery thatfocuses on the uplifting and transformation of our clients'financial management, accounting and finance governance practicesand functions.
We work with Board's, CEO's, CFO's and variousorganisations, providing advice and support for their business.Whilst no two days are the same, they may include the establishmentof a new entity's finance function; implementation orimprovement of accounting systems, processes and procedures;assistance with financial, management or project reporting andongoing financial governance requirements.
CFO Advisory team members often work as part of ourclient's team, and this provides a unique opportunity toleverage your skills and experience gained from working withinpublic practice.
Due to the continued success and growth of the CFO Advisoryteam, we are currently seeking a Senior Accountant from a publicaccounting practice background to join the team. CFO Advisory is akey team within the Advisory division.
Your responsibilities include: Assisting the CFO Advisory team with finance functionadvisory services and transformation projects including processimprovement, finance/ERP system selection and improvement,finance team structure reviews and financial governance;Preparation and/or development of financial, management andproject reporting (including general purpose financialstatements);Establishment of a new entity's finance and corporatefunctions;From time to time, acting in an insourced role as part of aclient's team.What you'll need to succeed Have an inquisitive mind and a desire to workcollaboratively within the team and across other teams withinthe firm;Want to make a difference and add value for ourclients;Ability to create bespoke solutions using soundframeworks;Have a tertiary qualification in accounting;Demonstrable experience in business services, audit (orsimilar) in public practice;CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion;Knowledge of the finance function including systems andprocesses.What we will offer you BDO offers professional development, collaborative culture,workplace flexibility, global career growth opportunities and anindustry-competitive salary package.

Competitive salary based on level of experience: starting from$88,000, inclusive of super.
