Goldbelly Senior Data Analyst Goldbelly is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Analytics team in New York City. You will apply your analytical and strategic skills to generate data-driven insights that span across the company. You will be tasked with working collaboratively to solve major company challenges, creating business intelligence dashboards to help stakeholders keep a pulse on the business, running ad hoc analyses to extract valuable insights and provide recommendations, and more.

What You'll Do Solve business challenges using analytics to make strategic, tactical observations and recommendations that influence every corner of the business. Apply expertise in constructing and optimizing complex SQL queries across large volumes of data Uncover actionable insights around key KPIs that drive new customer acquisition, customer experience, merchant relationships, and company operations Maintain the quality and accuracy of Goldbelly's data, and look for ways to optimize, including building data models Assist in interpretation of data for the analysis of user trends Be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, making assumptions, drawing conclusions, and sharing results of complex analysis for both technical and non-technical audiences Strong team player who can work closely with colleagues across Goldbelly including: Finance, Growth Marketing, Product/Tech, Operations and Customer Service What You've Done Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, engineering, finance) 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role Proficient in interpreting business goals, building comprehensive dashboards, analyzing trends, and making meaningful recommendations Perform deep dive analyses to answer complex strategic questions Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets Experience creating BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Snowflake, Sigma, Tableau, Google Analytics, or Looker, etc You are able to (i) Derive, manipulate, analyze, and synthesize key metrics and data concepts; (ii) Gather requirements for data reporting and other data solutions; and (iii) Create well-written, clear, concise and accurate documentation. You excel at communicating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You can present data as a story and have a desire to collaborate with others Strong initiative, problem-solving and strategic reasoning skills Preferred: Experience working with DBT, ETL tools (e.g. Airflow), Python and/or A/B testing tools Preferred: Experience working for an eCommerce or marketplace company, and/or familiarity with analyzing user acquisition growth channels (e.g. paid search, paid social, email, etc.) Benefits Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 Comprehensive benefits - medical, dental, and vision Company HSA and Dependent Care FSA Flexible paid-time-off 25% off Goldbelly Opportunities for upward mobility
