Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Product Manager to join our growing Client Prospecting digital product management team. This role leads the digital product strategy and delivery for a portfolio of marketing experiences used by consumers and agents. It's ideal for someone who enjoys developing not just the product itself, but its full story - and inspiring teams, stakeholders, and leaders around its purpose.
You will join a team which is at the forefront of New York Life's evolution to providing more innovative consumer and agent/advisor experiences. Our digital products are leaning into the power of human guidance and improving our customer's financial wellness and peace of mind, while enabling our agents to grow their small businesses.
What You'll Do: Lead strategic product initiatives: You'll oversee a product portfolio and its strategies and roadmaps and lead it to growth and success.Proactively lead initiatives and collaborations: Lead cross-functional internal teams, and partner closely with design, technology, and external vendors.Manage product features through their entire lifecycle: Bring products and features to life, from ideation and high-level requirements to delivery and iteration.Be a trusted expert in your field: Analyze market trends, customer research, competitive research, product performance metrics, and other insights to identify opportunities and create business cases.Track progress to ensure we're always improving: Define and track OKRs to continually refine our products.Ensure we're delivering projects efficiently: Develop and manage timelines, project plans, and roadmaps.Mentor junior product managers: Contribute to the product management practice and ways of working.Champion the vision: Manage stakeholders and effectively communicate product vision across the organization.What You'll Bring: Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or another related discipline. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.5+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of delivering successful digital products and meaningful outcomes and deep knowledge of product management practices and artifacts.Agile experience: A track record of delivering in an Agile environment and a commitment to Agile principles.Superior organizational skills: Including experience with workflow and roadmap tools.Your leadership and communication style: Ability to build relationships with stakeholders: Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners and facilitate alignment on complex interests.Superior communication skills: Ability to leverage your communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities to communicate complex ideas and drive alignment.And if you have this, we really want to hear from you: Experience in the fintech industry, life insurance, retirement, or another highly regulated industry will set you apart.Experience with consumer financial planning and/or sales and prospecting is desired.Pay Transparency Salary Range: $130,000 - $162,500
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
