Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Director of Marketing

to join MicroTransponder. As a Marketing Director for our medical device company, you will play a crucial role in driving our marketing efforts to new heights. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to promote our products and increase brand awareness in the medical device industry.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns, conduct market research, and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities. You will be responsible for managing our marketing team, setting clear goals and objectives, and ensuring all activities align with the company's overall marketing strategy. As a marketing expert, you will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our marketing initiatives remain competitive and ahead of the curve.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in the medical device industry and strong leadership and communication skills. You should also have a deep understanding of marketing principles specific to medical device products and experience in strategic planning and execution. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the stroke implant "ViviStim" product line
Develop user needs and market entry strategy for future product development
Focus on downstream and upstream marketing initiatives
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals
Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with company goals and objectives
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our medical device products and increase brand awareness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns and initiatives
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
Manage and coordinate the marketing team's activities, coordinate with Professional Education and Marketing Communications (MarCom) and Sales management setting clear goals and objectives
Oversee the creation and development of marketing materials targeting HCPs, OT/PT/COTAs, hospitals, rehabilitation centers as well as any future targets as needed to drive adoption of future products
Learn and develop strategies around the patient's journey from initial stroke care to the chronic stage of treatment.
Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing recommendations for improvement
Plan and execute strategy for trade show conferences and other marketing events in coordination with Professional Education, who manages the conference

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum of ten years of experience in medical device or biotech marketing, with a focus on strokes and vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) for new and existing growth opportunities
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, as well as an MBA, is a plus
Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing medical device products
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements of the US FDA (21CFR Part 800) within the medical device industry
Ability to work through ambiguity at a pace and effectively collaborate cross-functionally
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to think critically and at the strategic level
Must be a self-starter and be highly proactive
Ability to come onsite and in the Dallas and Minneapolis offices as needed
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily with HCPs, internal stakeholders and patients and their advocacy groups
