The Daily Wire is adding a Senior Director, Partner marketing & Promotions to our team! The Senior Director of Partner Marketing & Promotions will lead the development of a new function with the organization focused on accelerating our marketing efforts and audience growth in three primary areas: 1) creating a partner marketing strategy with external partners to mutually build audiences (barter, cross-promotions, integrations) 2) supporting our Ad Sales team in developing compelling advertiser integrations and partnerships through strong storytelling and unique integrations 3) identifying synergy and advertising opportunities across our portfolio of assets and inventory, helping the marketing team prioritize promotional avails and opportunities to drive the most ROI. This role will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, working across all products within our portfolio verticals of News, Kids and Consumer Products. RESPONSIBILITIES Partner Marketing & Promotions Identify, pitch and develop unique marketing partnerships with outside companies with similar/adjacent target audiences to mutually grow customers and subscribers. Create a calendar of quarterly promotional opportunities aimed at strengthening or subscription offering and/or reaching large audiences. Set and hit subscriber acquisition targets that meaningfully improve our blended customer acquisition costs. Work in collaboration with Marketing VPs across the three key verticals (News, Kids, Consumer Products) to set an annual promotion calendar. Work with legal and finance to best operationalize our approach. Ad Sales Marketing Collaborate with the Ad Sales team to create marketing collateral (pitch, video, etc.) that sells or unique offering and capabilities. Support the Ad Sales team in creating compelling and unique advertiser integrations within our ecosystem. Synergy Marketing Work across the business to identify key promotional opportunities, avails and inventory, collaborating closely with ad sales to determine inventory allocations dedicated to in-house promotional objectives. Set the monthly calendar of opportunities and work with Marketing VPs to best match and prioritize key company objectives within our owned assets. Work closely with the marketing team to develop a merchandising strategy across our apps to improve customer experience and engagement. Own Outcomes Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and guide data-informed decisionsReport results and learnings to the broader Consumer Marketing team, using insights to optimize performance and identify broader growth opportunities. Analyze consumer data and behaviors to identify trends, opportunities for segmentation, and targeted communication strategies. QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field - 6+ years of experience in partner marketing or ad sales marketing - Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration both internally and externally - Commerce retail experience and ideally subscription experienceExperience driving customer acquisition and retentionExperience in brand strategy, campaign briefing, development, execution and management - Effective cross-functional collaboration and partnership across a variety of internal partners: performance marketing, loyalty/membership, creative, PR, finance, etc. - Enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, creative team playe
