Role Overview:
As the Senior Director of Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations for our EVTOL aircraft manufacturing. Leveraging your expertise in supply chain management, you will drive efficiency, quality, and innovation across procurement, logistics, supplier relationships, and inventory management processes. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the strategic vision for the supply chain function, aligning with company goals and market demands.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and risk mitigation within the supply chain ecosystem.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components and materials.
Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to optimize supplier performance and mitigate supply chain risks.
Establish inventory policies, procedures, and systems to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
Implement inventory optimization techniques such as JIT (Just-In-Time) inventory, demand forecasting, and inventory replenishment.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, finance, and sales to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain activities.
Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
12+ years of progressive experience in AEROSPACE supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of success in managing complex supply chains within the aerospace.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and decision-making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive change, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
