Senior Financial Analyst, Revenue

We are looking for a talented Sr. Financial Analyst who will be able to execute and refine GAAP revenue and ARR forecasting for our Parchment product line. This role will require the successful candidate to thrive in the zone where financial models and systems intersect with people and processes. What you will do:

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for transaction-based GAAP revenue and Parchment ARR
Perform financial analysis and provide deep insights to highlight trends (customer level and macro level) and identify areas of opportunity and risk
Enhance transaction-based revenue models to allow for more accurate forecasting and better variance analysis
Partner with both the Accounting and Enterprise Systems teams to enhance and optimize upstream processes and models, as well as check for data accuracy
Design and/or maintain and deliver financial reporting to provide accurate insight into revenue results, including the preparation of executive and/or Board level presentations
Ensure a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, as analysis will be regularly presented to upper management
Ad-hoc analysis as required
What you will need to know/have:

Bachelor's degree required
2-4 years of financial analysis and forecasting/modeling for revenue
Strong business partnering skills and prior exposure to business strategy, processes, and financial objectives
Strong analytical abilities to manage large data sets and synthesize/present complex information in a structured, cohesive narrative
Familiarity (and desire to do more) with SQL to query or manipulate large data sets
Self-starter and quick learner; demonstrated independence and autonomy in a high-performing work environment
Solid experience in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
Exceptional presentation and communication skills
Bonus if you also have:

Background in tech/software/SaaS
Experience forecasting Transaction-based revenue
Experience forecasting ARR
Experience with Netsuite, SalesForce, Snowflake and other comparable software/technologies
