Exostar is looking for a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a key role in the company's financial planning and reporting activities by partnering closely with the leaders of various business functions across the company. You will be an integral thought partner by providing financial performance analysis & insights to inform budgeting and resource investment decisions. This role requires a high attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Role Responsibilities: Partner closely with business leaders and functional stakeholders to understand their business area and leverage that knowledge to provide analyses that inform financial planning & business decisions. Support highly visible recurring deliverables including month-end reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual planning & budget, and long-term financial plan. Serve as a financial expert in discussions with business leaders, providing insights and influencing key strategic decisions. Design and improve financial models and reporting at the company-wide level. Be accountable for the models' core assumptions, quality, timeliness and accuracy. Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variance to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation. Prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Training and onboarding of new team members. Prepare and present financial updates to senior management. Proactively challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement, standardization, and simplification of our FP&A core processes. Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required. Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from an accredited institution Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant operational experience in Revenue Operations, FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity or similar Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners Ability to multitask and maintain a high level of performance under tight timelines Strong written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present insights clearly Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience in SaaS organization is a strong plus Prior experience supporting GTM and G&A functions is a strong plus Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented Solution-oriented "act like an owner" mindset with enthusiasm for establishing best practices Highest standards of accuracy and precision Ability to bring structure to ambiguous areas of opportunity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Preferred software knowledge: high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Hubspot, Tableau, Salesforce, and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, This position can be hybrid or remote and may be performed from any location in the US where Exostar has a legal presence (VA, NC, GA, TX, NJ, PA, IL, DC, MD, FL, SC). Must be willing to travel as needed to company locations and/or client locations.
