Redstone Commodity Search are working with a Midsize Metals trading firm looking to hire a Hedge Fund Analyst to join their team in New York. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Responsible for daily managing of a portfolio within the Americas. Provide research-driven insights on market trends and economic factors to refine investment approaches within the base metals space. Managing investment and risk exposures, while determining optimal hedging strategies where applicable. Assist in establishing the hedge fund, requiring the ability to manage others or a strong desire to grow into a leadership position. Role reports to Managing Partner. Key Qualifications / Experience 7+ years' experience in financial markets, preferably specialising in base metals. Strong analytical skills ideally from experience in a hedge fund environment. Established track record of effectively advising a derivatives portfolio. English language is mandatory, and Spanish is a desirable bonus. Role is based in New York.
