Senior HR Partner, US & Canada
New York, Dallas

Description

Apex Group is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner for the North Americas Region.
The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, whilst contributing to a larger global HR team.
The role requires a high level of autonomy, decision making, managing, and coaching abilities and strong experience in a similar role

Job specification
Partner with senior stakeholders on complex/ strategic HR topics (such as but not limited to restructuring/ organizational design activities and employee relation cases/ legal topics) Understanding employment requirements by state and country (USA, Canada, Bermuda, Cayman).
Knowledge of Mexico would be a benefit.
Experience in successfully executing employee relation cases, separation agreements, terminations, redundancies Be aligned to the regional Head of HR to provide backup, drive consistency across the business and to share best practices Work closely with the local and global HR team for regional input into global projects; Create and maintain action plans for HR policy and procedure changes, ensuring they are in line with local legislation and regulation, as well as align to Group standards Coordinate the regional delivery of the people strategy and key employee lifecycle activities (such as the compensation review process) Provide day to day support for managers and senior stakeholders on People and Culture topics Advise and consult on employee strategy and hiring strategy working in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team; driving succession and talent planning.
Aid and lead in change management activities Drive M&A related activities ensuring a smooth integration aligned with business strategy Manage, coach and develop team members as required Ad hoc projects which may occur in business requirements.
Skills Required: Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed Minimum of 6 years of experience Certified Senior HR Professional Membership credentials would be a plus Significant experience gained in a similar role and industry Solid knowledge of employee relations processes and relevant employment legislation.

Salary ranges from USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 plus additional discretionary yearly bonus based on corporate and individual's performance.
Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
