POSITION

Parachute is looking to add an experienced, professional, and personable Senior IT Project Engineer to our growing team.
This is a fantastic career opportunity for a proactive, highly motivated individual.
This position will occasionally go on-site for complex projects.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recommend, develop, plan, manage, implement, and fully document IT projects Be the escalation point for other IT Systems Engineers and Service Desk Engineers Advise the Technical Account Manager with service requirements and specifications to better address client goals and needs Take ownership of IT infrastructure and day to day operations for clients Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets Manage and respond to escalated client inquiries Prepare and implement advanced hardware and software for clients Determine equipment and software procurement needs for clients Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations Manage entire IT infrastructure for our largest clients Provide professional and personable on-site and remote support Travel to customer locations.
Valid license and insurance are required.
Keep all tickets and projects updated and track time in a detailed format Requirements

Essential Technical Skills and Experience IT PROJECTS Email and file migrations to Office 365 Server migrations to Azure Configuring, installing, and testing firewalls, switches, WAPs (Cisco Meraki preferred) Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations Identity access and management SERVER Windows Server & Roles: Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Network Policy Server, Remote Desktop Server Exchange Server: configuration, troubleshooting, repair, backup management, user management Cloud services: Azure Virtual Network & Compute, Office 365 Virtualization: VMWare & VCenter, Hyper-V NETWORKING Firewall/router setup and troubleshooting; Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall Network design, setup, management, troubleshooting and traffic shaping VPN/server/client setup and issue resolution Wireless network design for single and multi-node setups in small and medium size environments VLANs, managed switches, packet tracing, network monitoring DNS, DHCP, FTP, VoIP Internet domain management Required Personal Skills Willingness to go above and beyond The ability to multi-task and work across a range of projects and issues with various timelines and priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Very detail-oriented in planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up The ability to work completely independently or with a team Reliable, on-time, personable, and customer-focused Poised and patient during onsite visits and phone-based tech support Comfortable working with a variety of clients, other consultants, and HW/SW vendors Energetic, able to switch gears quickly from task to task Desire to learn; independently and on the job Experience Minimum 7 years' experience in the IT support industry working with business environments Experience with ConnectWise a major plus Formal education in IT preferred Associates degree required with an IT related field of study Bachelor's degree preferred Certificates (preferred): Cisco CCNA Microsoft MCSA in Windows Server 2012R2 or 2016 Microsoft 365: Microsoft Enterprise Administrator Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate VMware Certified Associate (VCA) Benefits Monthly compliance bonus plan Medical Dental Vision FSA 401k + company matching 15 paid days off (vacation and sick) 8 - 10 paid holidays per year Paid day off for your birthday Cellular phone stipend

Salary Description

$95,000 - 120,000
