HOW THE SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Organize and lead or participate in status/working meetings, as requiredPrepare and distribute progress and status reportsInteracts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff and stakeholdersCoordinates development of deliverables and productsEnsures quality assurance of project deliverablesManage risks, issues, cost, performance, and scheduleCreate appropriate metrics and track accordinglyDevelop corrective action plansEvaluate complex risks/issues and provide recommendations for project improvementAssures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.Participates in special projects as required WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education:
Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline; OR in lieu of degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is requiredPMP certification is preferred Required Experience:

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly Hours:
