About the Role - We are seeking a highly motivated CLO Analyst to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will have experience in credit analysis, financial modeling, and investment underwriting within the High Yield and syndicated loan markets. The CLO Analyst will be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, conducting in-depth research across various industries, and supporting portfolio management through detailed credit analysis and risk assessment. Responsibilities Credit Analysis : Perform thorough credit analysis on existing and potential investments across the platform. Focus on sectors and opportunities across the leverage universe. Financial Modeling : Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast revenue, cash flows, margins, and credit metrics for portfolio companies. Use scenario analysis to evaluate downside risks and potential losses. Investment Research : Source and analyze new investment opportunities, prepare investment memoranda, and present recommendations to the investment committee and risk management teams. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, economic factors, and government policies that may impact portfolio companies and investment performance. Portfolio Management : Assist in managing and monitoring CLO portfolio positions, including tracking investment performance and risk exposure. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees such as an MBA are a plus). 10 - 15 years of experience in credit analysis, investment research, or related fields, ideally within a CLO, leveraged loan, or credit hedge fund environment. Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in forecasting and scenario analysis. Excellent understanding of credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, and capital structure analysis. Solid knowledge of syndicated loans, special situations, and private debt/equity investments. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Bloomberg. Stressed/Distressed credit experience a plus. Personal Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
