Back Office Operations Management:
Oversee HR, recruiting, facility security, IT support, proposal support, and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices for smooth and efficient operations. Align back-office functions with strategic goals, monitor KPIs, and drive operational excellence. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and requirements for government contracting activities. Process and Systems Integration:
Integrate processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency, automation, and standardization. Implement and manage ERP (e.g. Deltek), HRIS (e.g. iSolved), and cloud-based productivity suites (e.g. Microsoft 365 Workspace). Drive adoption of technology tools and platforms to improve collaboration and productivity. Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations and cost accounting principles. Team Leadership and Process Improvement:
Provide strong leadership, assign responsibilities, and mentor team members for high-quality deliverables. Committed to continuous process improvements. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, financial management, or a related field (master's degree preferred). 10 Years of experience managing back-office operations in the federal contracting industry, including knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), Health and Human Services Acquisition Regulations (HHSAR) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations. Strong expertise in integrating processes and systems, with hands-on experience with recruiting, in implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP, e.g. Deltek), Human Resource Information System (HRIS, e.g. iSolved), and cloud-based productivity suites (e.g. Microsoft 365). Solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards related to HR, contracts, facility security, IT, and proposal processes. Familiarity with cost accounting principles and practices, including indirect cost allocation, cost pools, and cost allowability. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
