JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Pricing and Analytics will manage multiple, concurrent complex analyses of admission pricing and products on an ongoing basis in order to ensure Universal Orlando implements profit maximizing pricing and promotional decisions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute the objectives of the pricing team through analysis of standard product pricing, Marquee Event pricing and potential promotion/niche offers. Develop detailed pricing models to analyze complex product and pricing scenarios. Conduct postmortem analytics to evaluate program contribution and viability for future use.
Test price and demand sensitivities to identify options which maximize profitability. Leverage these results along with other advanced analytics to develop, implement, and deploy pricing capabilities.
Manage the pricing and promotion approval process. Present clear and succinct business cases in order to gain executive leadership approvals.
Analyze attendance trends by origin, sales channel, and product mix. Use attendance trends and modeling to partner with Finance on attendance forecasting.
Partner with Marketing and Sales. Brainstorm/conceptualize potential new offers to address business needs.
Manage direct reports, providing support, feedback, and career development.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Master's degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
7+ years pricing and/or financial analyst experience required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Strong interpersonal, technical and presentation skills required.
Ability to leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate and understand key drivers of sales channel and product performance, viability, and profitability.
Demonstrated ability to champion projects from beginning through implementation, meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail, data accuracy with an ability to consolidate multiple sources of information/analyses into a cohesive story/recommendation.
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence others with the story behind the data; ability to communicate concepts to a non-technical audience as well as the ability to advise senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
