DescriptionSummary: Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the private equity sector.
Duties and Responsibilities: Relationship Sourcing & Management: Maintain an active calling effort on both existing relationships as well as potential prospects in the team's target client segments. RMs should have a deep understanding of the fund finance market including the financial sponsors that fit into the team's origination strategy as well as the various products that can be relevant to the team's clients.Client Development: Deliver the broader Huntington platform to our clients by identifying areas of opportunity and bringing the relevant internal teams into the conversation (incl. Financial Sponsors, Treasury Management, Leveraged Finance, Foreign Exchange).Transaction Structuring: Develop a deep understanding of relevant structures in the fund finance market and the legal nuances associated with them. Negotiate term sheets, credit agreements and ancillary legal documents.Transaction Execution: Act as the team deal team lead on fund finance transactions, taking ownership of the overall transaction process.Training & Development: Act as a mentor to junior team members, providing them with guidance and coaching to enable them to advance in their careers.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree5+ years of experience in a private equity related sector3+ years of experience in a client coverage role in a private equity related sector with experience onboarding profitable relationships as well as negotiating and structuring transactionsPreferred Qualifications: 15 years financial services experience including 7+ years of experience in a client coverage role in a private equity related sector and will have significant experience onboarding profitable relationships as well as negotiating and structuring transactions.Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
