Job Description:
Responsibilities: Provides on-going multi-computer site support for Middleware Software activities associated with the installation, upgrading, testing, and maintenance of Middleware software and hardware in a multiple server and multiple network operating system environments.
Follows detailed work plans for both installation and continuing maintenance.
Conducts tests and monitors new installations.

Qualifications: Provides advanced technical, ongoing support of Middleware.
Oversees the installation, upgrade, testing and maintenance of multiple server and network operating system environments.
Oversees installation and deployment of security patches across the server environment and ensures adherence to change control policies.
Reviews and implements technical standards and procedures.
Oversees the monitoring and tuning on a regular basis.
Produces statistics on performance and is responsible for identifying and resolving performance problems.
Ensures problem resolution.
Reviews research and testing and recommendations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions: Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
Physical Demands( Due to nature of job): The candidate should be able to lift 20 pounds with assistance.
Hours of Work: May require extended work hours.
Occasional travel including overnight stays may be necessary.
May be subject to on-call and call back as needed.
May be exposed to moderate noise from equipment.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience/Masters Degree may be preferred with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
