Network Engineer- 100% Remote Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader, is seeking a Network Engineer for a remote position.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our current network configuration and infrastructure.
This person design our revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing our network performance.

Responsibilities Maintain, implement, and troubleshoot networs Design and support network systems and infrastructure Configure and operate routers and switches, also some wireless involved as well Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis Apply today if your background includes Ability to work a remote, contract role Routing, switching, firewall experience- Cisco, BGP, OSPF, Meraki, etc Network support and troubleshooting experience for a large network with many users/customers Firewall experience- configuration, troubleshooting, policies, upgrades, etc.
Experience troubleshooting network tickets and other day to day tasks Any cloud networking/automation experience is a plus
