POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of wood-frame multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial construction projects. This role requires an experienced leader who excels in managing complex projects, ensuring quality, and driving efficiency from pre-construction through closeout ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget. Additionally, this role will provide guidance and mentoring to the project team and enhance customer relationships by delivering excellent service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and executionDevelop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion within budgetLead project teams, including subcontractors, consultants, and internal staff, to achieve project goalsManage project budgets, perform cost control, determine cost codes, approve invoices and ensure accurate financial reporting to ensure overall financial health of projectsManage change orders, billings and contract management, including subcontract drafting, negotiating, and executionEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company standards related to quality and risk managementServe as the primary point of contact for owner/clients, fostering strong relationships and addressing concerns to resolve issuesConduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure quality controlPrepare and present project reports, status updates, and risk assessments to stakeholdersStructure and manage the team's execution of procurement, work planning, and general work coordinationMentor and develop project managers and team membersCollaborate effectively with Superintendent, Financial Services Team and other stakeholders QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferredMinimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in wood-frame multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial constructionProven ability to manage projects exceeding $75 millionProficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailPMP certification preferredProven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for complex projectsDetail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksPossess understanding of basic construction law and generally accepted business practicesProven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate GenCap policies and lead by example LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS A valid Driver's License is requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license or related certifications (e.g., LEED AP) is a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The working environments consist of exposure to dirt, heat, noise, dust, and outdoor weather; as well as indoor and climate-controlled settings.
SALARY RANGE: $160,000 - $185,000 per year plus annual bonus and profit share plan
