This Fortune 500 Healthcare Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the coordination, planning, and implementation of new and remodel construction projects.
This role involves managing the entire lifecycle of retail construction projects, from budget development and scheduling to construction administration and project closeout.
The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with internal and external teams to evaluate project strategies, develop scopes, and present proposals to senior leadership.
They will manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with the company's designs and standards, while also handling permits, contracts, and reporting.
This is a ongoing contract with extensions every 6 months based on performance, with willingness to travel to different sites in the area.
- Collaborate with the internal real estate team, business units, A&E, and contractors to assess project opportunities, develop scopes, and create budgets and schedules.
- Oversee the management of retail construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects adhere to designs and standards.
- Handle financial responsibilities for approximately $15M+ in annual expense and capital budgets.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support construction projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct site visits to confirm that work meets the company's plans, specifications, and standards.
- Execute merchandising activities, including walks with operational partners, material orders, and follow-up visits.
- Review and adjust project schedules, budgets, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Adapt to changes in the retail environment and adjust project plans as needed.
- Manage the punch list and project closeout process to ensure all tasks are completed satisfactorily.

- degree in construction management, architecture, engineering
* 5+ years of strong project management experience with the ability to effectively manage large number of projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of all aspects of the design and construction process including standards and costs.
* Strong project management and merchandising skills (1+ years in merchandising)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Project, Outlook, etc.).
* Proficiency with proprietary Project Management software.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Be able to travel (2-4 days weekly) and work remotely.
* Be able to work remotely, self-starter, minimal daily oversight and guidance required.
