Senior Risk Manager - Customer Resiliency Risk Events (Hybrid)Senior Manager, Customer Resiliency Risk Events As a Senior Manager in Capital One's Customer Resiliency organization, you will apply your project management, process management, risk management and analytical skills to our highest profile Risk Management processes. You will lead a team of risk managers who play a key role in the ongoing management of our Enterprise Event and Issue Standard and ensure Capital One's continued stability and success. Senior Managers partner with Executives and their teams to evaluate risks in an open, collaborative environment where new ideas and solutions are both welcomed and rewarded as well as lead a team of associates to monitor and assess the health of our business.
Senior Managers at Capital One are highly motivated professionals with excellent process management and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and the opportunity to work with Executives to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company.
Core Responsibilities:Lead a team of risk managers that facilitate the risk event life cycle, including: root cause analysis, containment, remediation, and recovery effortsDevelop practical solutions to improve risk event management processes using data and technologyCollaborate internally and with our risk community (e.g. risk managers, risk leads, IRM groups, business risk offices, front line process owners) to mature our risk event practice methodologies and advance learningLeverage data and analytics to manage risk and create visibility to business health, as well as determine best practices and lessons learned regarding components of the Event & Issue management frameworkCollaborate effectively across multiple organizations outside of Customer Resiliency such as Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Business Risk Offices, Legal, Internal Audit, Regulator Relations, etc. to achieve objectives for the Customer Resiliency businessBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 5 years of Project Management experienceAt least 5 years of Risk Management or Process ManagementAt least 2 years of People Management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Master's DegreeProcess Management Certification- LEAN, Six SigmaCompliance Certification- CRCM, CIPP7+ years Business Process Management experience7+ years of experience in Project Management5+ years of experience in People ManagementThis role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week) in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Mondays and Fridays are enterprise-wide virtual work days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
