Greystones Group has an opportunity for a Security Specialist. The Security Specialist will be supporting the Navy customer's program office. The Security Specialist will be part of a team that owns the security program and works directly with prime and customer maintaining security methods, concepts and protections. This position is hybrid and requires that the candidate is able to go into the customer's office in the Washington Navy Yard.
Onsite role in Washington D.C. Navy Yard. Salary: $115-140k

Prepare, develop and maintain program security instructions, security classification guides, DD—254's and security briefing materials for review and approvals. Utilize knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements governing security for DOD acquisitions and major tasks involved in developing and maintaining strategies, documents and plans, certifications and accreditations. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree +7 years of experience in security or 11+ years of professional experience in security. Strong knowledge of security classification methods, concepts, eligibility for access to classified of sensitive information and the process for granting clearances and security accesses. Experience with commonly applied security principles, concepts and methodologies in carrying out personnel, information, and physical security programs related to the protection of SCI. Experience conducting inspections and investigations. Skilled in weighing the impact of variables such as critical personnel qualifications, variations in building construction characteristics, access and entry restrictions, equipment availability to resolve security questions and issues.
